Angela Rose oversees the peer-to-peer strategy for SickKids Foundation’s signature events including the first ever Million Reasons Run, a virtual running challenge held in May 2021. Despite the uncertainty of launching this brand new event during a global pandemic, The Million Reasons Run was hugely successful in raising over $2.2 million to benefit 13 children’s hospital foundations across Canada.
Angela has worked on peer-to-peer events over the past 10 years, including at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada and Heart and Stroke Foundation. She enjoys using industry best practices, while keeping on top of current trends in fundraising and technology. She is passionate about her work and is currently working towards her CFRE designation. When she’s not working on top events, Angela enjoys chasing after her high energy 4-year-old twin boys.
